Chelsea/Arsenal/Manchester United and Other Teams Are Unwilling and Unlikely to Afford Isak

The Camel Live reporter team analyzes Isak's future.

Chelsea

Even if Isak now wants to leave St. James' Park, Chelsea has no intention of signing him.

There was indeed strong interest in the past, but Newcastle's valuation of the forward meant the transfer never came to fruition. However, the situation has changed. Chelsea has strengthened their attacking lineup this summer and is very satisfied with the current deals. They believe the team has the right balance and depth.

Striker Liam Delap was signed from Ipswich for £30 million, while versatile player João Pedro joined from Brighton for more than £50 million, with the latter already being Chelsea's starting forward in the Club World Cup. Winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens also joined from Borussia Dortmund.

They are considering signing another attacking player, but this depends on player departures. Currently, they are focused on top players such as Xavi Simons, Morgan Rogers, and Alejandro Garnacho.

The cost of signing Isak is certainly an issue, especially considering the player's potential salary demands, which, even if not the highest, would be enough to make him one of Chelsea's highest earners.

Paris Saint-Germain

If there is any team capable of signing Isak, it is likely the current European champions.

At the start of this transfer window, Isak was not a priority for Paris Saint-Germain, but now that he has publicly expressed his desire to transfer, it remains to be seen whether this situation will change.

Randal Kolo Muani and Sergio Ramos may both leave, which will free up space for a forward, but whether Paris Saint-Germain is willing to invest such a huge transfer fee in a center forward is a completely different matter.

Real Madrid's Rodrygo has been linked with Paris, but he is not in the club's plans for now, and the next player to join Paris Saint-Germain is most likely Bournemouth center-back Ilya Zabarnyi.

Arsenal

In a word, signing Isak seems unlikely after securing Viktor Gyökeres.

Manchester United

Manchester United's top priority this summer is to sign a new striker; however, they have spent more than £130 million on two specialized strikers.

As a result, club executives are still exploring the center forward market. Recently, Ollie Watkins and Nicolas Jackson have been discussed. However, Isak had never clearly stated that he wanted to leave before.

Although Isak is one of the best center forwards in the world, Newcastle United's tough stance means Manchester United has to look for other targets. Even now, the huge cost of signing Isak makes pursuing him unfeasible.

Besides, would he really trade Champions League qualification for a team that finished 15th in the Premier League last season?

Even if he is persuaded to take a risk on the INEOS project, Manchester United's financial situation requires extensive consideration, given that the club's current priority is to sell players. Garnacho is a player worth trading, but Newcastle United have sufficient personnel in the wing positions.

Manchester City

Clearly impossible.

Bayern Munich

There is no doubt that Isak's ability is enough to attract Bayern's interest, but this deal is almost unimaginable.

Isak's transfer fee would be prohibitive, and he would have to accept playing as a left winger again rather than in the center forward position occupied by Harry Kane.
